Nails inc. Sloane Avenue and Chester feather effect polish review.

Today I'm going to review nails inc.'s polishes; Sloane Avenue and Chester feather effect polish. These are from the nails inc Nail polish diary collection available for £30. By the 28th december I was becoming tired of the festive colours.Don't get me wrong I love a good red or gold but I wanted to wear something to brighten up the wintry days .So,I opted for the colours under brighter months: April and June. The coral colour Sloane Avenue was really easy to apply and very thick so I only had to do 1 1/2 coats. It lasted well and only chipped a tiny bit (I think it was after I picked up the rocks) and the bright colour was a cheery reminder that summer was on its way. The Chester feather effect polish
listed under June took a few more coats. As with any polishes like this you have keep applying in order to get as many of the small decorations as possible. However, after a few more coats it led to a lovely textured polish and the feather effect really showed. It lasted extremely well and was even hard to remove WITH nail polish remover. Overall two very good polishes and they definitely brought some sunshine to the otherwise cloudy English days.
Here are my ratings:
Chipping: 3.75
Shine:4
Richness of colour:3.5
Classic-ness: (It's a relatively 'hip' colour)2
Overall:3.75

Nail Rock Caviar Moon review

When first completed
4 days later...
When a text popped up from my sister with the right hand side picture and the message "put this on your blog!"I thought I should consider it and here it is!
This is the DIY caviar nails set in 'Moon' from Nail Rock and can be bought in Boots for about £7. Not too expensive for something people were paying £30 to be done professionally only a few months ago. This is quite a bargain! The 'caviar' style first took the nail world by storm on the catwalk in Fall 2011, now almost two years later it is available for all! This is the Moon colour caviar, but as you can see in the left photo those little caviar balls did not last for long, as ten minutes after the photo was taken I received another text saying "be quick they're all falling off!" Not to be a pessimist but usually I expect nail polishes to falter after 10 days not 10 minutes. However, if you get a sturdy base and top coat like OPI's 'Natural nail base and Top coat' selling for about £8 on amazon you may find it lasts for longer. Yet, for my sister it was a short lived caviar experience and by the fourth day no caviar balls remained and only a few scraps of the nail polish were left on the nail.
Here are  my ratings for Nail Rock Caviar:
Chipping-2
Shine-2
Richness of colour-(this doesn't really apply here) 1
Classic-ness - (it's a relatively new product so this can only come with time) 2.5
Overall-2

Rococo Nail Apparel- Hypnotic Luxe review

Left picture:first done Right picture: 1 week later
As October rolled around and my summer tan and bright coral nails were officially a thing of the past, I made a trip to the nail salon to get my nails done.
This delicious purple colour was the obvious choice as Halloween was fast approaching and the slight metallic touch was calling me. I can't say I applied it myself since the lovely ladies at Margaret Dabbs nail salon did the hard job of  getting rid of the damage done by chlorine and the sun.
As the first coat was put on my pinky, I knew this colour was a keeper and made the decision to buy the colour (a very rare event).
This colour has gained many complements around the place, and some envious looks on public transport.
It held up very well and didn't lose its shine even after a week of being bashed by zips, showers, my hairdryer and pens.
Overall I love this colour and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nail polish that makes you feel cool when glancing at your nails. It goes very well with all clothes, especially as winter is approaching and while some are turning to the black items in their wardrobes it brightens up any outfit.
Here are my ratings for Rococo's Hypnotic luxe:

Chipping-(5 doesn't chip-1 peels off)  3.5
Shine- (5 shines like a diamond -1 matte) 4
Richness of colour- 3.5
Classic-ness- (5 1950s-1 2013) 3.5
